Today, we have a favour to ask you.
Every three years Elections Canada requires registered political parties to submit the signatures of 250 party members to prove the party is still active. 2022 is the first year we will have to meet this requirement since our registration in 2019.
Can you help us meet this requirement by printing and filling out a form?
If you are able to help out, please follow the below steps. All you will need is a printer, scanner, a pen, and 5-10 minutes.
Print the form.
At the top of the page, under “Full name of the political party” write “People’s Party of Canada”, please be careful to print legibly.
Check off the bullet for “Type 2 - Existing Registered or Eligible Party”
Sign and date the form in the appropriate boxes. Please note, Elections Canada only accepts handwritten signatures done in ink. Electronic signatures will not be accepted.
Fill out the name and address information required in the “member information” section.
Scan the completed form and send it to us at: info@peoplespartyofcanada.ca.
Please note that only eligible electors (Canadian citizens, 18 years of age or above) are able to sign. As well, keep in mind that Elections Canada may reach out to you by phone or email to verify this information.
Thank you for your help in this matter and your ongoing support!
Cheers,
Nancy Mercier
