PPC Leader Was Right About The War in Ukraine!

The war in Ukraine has been going on for six months already.
Last March, PPC leader Maxime Bernier, wrote that Canada had no business getting involved in this conflict, which is essentially a proxy war between the US and Russia.
Maxime warned that economic sanctions against Russia were a geopolitical blunder on the West’s part that would have huge adverse economic and military consequences, that would backfire and destabilize the global financial and monetary system, as well as, push the Russians into the arms of the Chinese communist regime.
Well, Max was right!
Russia is not isolated, as Western governments claim. It has implicit support from China, India, and dozens of emerging countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Europe is in a state of economic chaos and Europeans may not have oil or gas to heat their homes and power their industries this winter.
As noted by a Bloomberg News article this week, Russia is winning the energy war.
Russia, China and the BRICS countries are said to be planning the launch of a new international reserve currency, possibly backed by gold, to compete with the dollar [US petrol dollar].
Max just did an interview on Kitco News on this very topic that you can watch here.
This is inevitable and long overdue, but it will transform the world’s economy and have dramatic consequences on the US and on Canada, because our overly indebted and uncompetitive economies, are not ready for it.
Meanwhile, Ukrainians are being killed every day and their country is bankrupt.
As Max wrote back in March, we could have avoided this war if we had given Russia assurances that Ukraine would not join NATO.
The Liberals and Conservatives all support getting more involved in this stupid war which is not in our best interest.
Pierre Poilievre tweeted that we need to send more arms to Ukraine, impose more sanctions on Russia, and welcome more Ukrainian refugees.
This is reckless in Max's view.
The PPC is the only federal party that supports peace.
Many thanks!
